Talent ID Programme

12 months ago, as part of our ongoing Foundation Phase Recruitment and Local Recruitment Strategy we decided to design and implement a Talent Identification Programme. The programme is run out of 5 different centres across the region – Leicester, Derby, Birmingham, Nottingham and Sheffield.

The main aim of the programme is to provide an opportunity for talented footballers to showcase their abilities and with the help of our experienced TID coaches, inspire them to progress through into our elite academy system.

As a single football club city, we understand that we are the heartbeat of our community and so want young footballers within this community to have the chance to represent the club within the academy teams.

When taking part in the 12-week programme, we expect all players to be prepared to work hard while being honest and humble at all times. We want everybody to achieve their goals.
